Prayer is the most important part of a Christian life.
Spurgeon said that the prayer meeting was the “boiler room” of his church. Another preacher said that a Church without a prayer meeting will die. Jesus said where two or three are gathered together he would be in the midst.
As a church we meet together every Sunday for fifteen minutes before the service to pray together for the preacher and for ourselves. Some of us just want to sit quietly and prepare ourselves for the hearing of God’s word.
On the first Wednesday in the month we gather for a longer time when we pray for the church in general in our location, nationally and internationally. We are able at this time to share the topics that are close to our hearts whether it is something we are involved in locally or missionary work overseas.
All are welcome to join us at 10.15 a.m. every Sunday and 7.30 p.m. on the first Wednesday in the month.
